We started our 14th cross country season in the Chiltern League at Horspath, Oxford on 10th October 2009, marking the start of a series of 5 races around the district. The 5 events spanned the Autumn and Winter months, covered the Chiltern District and beyond to bring together some of the best clubs in the region.
With no Watfard fixture and the inclusion of Shuttleworth, there were some notable changes this year. It's even been a few years since Horspath was on the agenda, but I think these changes were for the better with more challenging courses to negotiate.

Our new captains Richard Slater and Hayley Parry did a fantastic job at rallying the Teams and we finished 5th overall, with Christine Murray and Andrew Byerley taking honours as the club cross country champions. It all goes to show that as a club we can be competitive against some of the best in our district and that we are regularly Division 2 promotion contenders.
